# Prism: extension and site

## Problem

Shipping one solo ecosystem could be luck; shipping a second one is a
process. Prism, a [site](https://prism.ziyarex.com/) and
[browser extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hehmcipehcghgaiohfmplfckcjckiiai),
was built to prove the repeatable part: idea → product → shipped, without a
team and without a year.

## Decisions

**Reuse the playbook, not the code.** The lessons from Ueue carried over:
surface-per-strength, ruthless scope, states as features. But Prism made
its own technical calls where the product demanded different ones.

**Extension-first.** Prism's value lives in the browser, so the extension
is the product and the site is its front door, not the other way around.
That ordering decided everything downstream: onboarding happens where the
value is, and the site sells the click, not the scroll.

**Ship, then sharpen.** First public version early, then iterate against
real usage rather than imagined users.

Prism is live end to end: the extension in the Chrome Web Store, the site
in production. The second ecosystem shipped faster than the first, the
playbook held, which was the hypothesis. What Ueue proved possible, Prism
proved repeatable.
